Wellness Wednesday: Doing things for you
Overview
Feeling like life is a non-stop, high-speed treadmill? Between work, family, and everything in between, it can feel impossible to find a moment just for you. But what if a little bit of self-care wasn't another chore on your to-do list? What if it was actually fun, easy, and totally doable?
Join us for a relaxing evening dedicated to boosting your well-being on Wednesday 28th January 2026 and get some tips, tricks, insights and ideas that would normally cost you hundreds of pounds to meet with wellbeing experts.
Get ready to slow down, connect with others, and discover simple ways to feel your best without adding more stress to your life.
The fun begins at 5:00pm with a healthy buffet and welcome drinks. Enjoy healthy mocktails, canapes, and even some healthy pizza-style flatbreads and salads while you mingle.
Throughout the evening, you'll hear from a fantastic lineup of wellness experts during two "Sofa Chat" sessions. They'll be sharing their secrets and answering some of your biggest questions on everything from managing stress and recovering from burnout to finding affordable, realistic and sustainable ways to stay well.
Here’s a sneak peek at our incredible speakers:
- Matt Young is a men's wellbeing champion and founder of Mr.Mind.
- Sam Wones is an ex Royal Marines Commando and stress management coach.
- Laura Champion is an empowerment coach who helps survivors of domestic abuse reconnect with themselves.
- Faye Court is a wellbeing and self-care champion and founder of The Self Care Hour.
- Bre Kirk is a personal trainer and yoga teacher who co-founded local gym "Ascend".
