How to make positive changes in your life with James Gorman Co-founder of BioMe
About this event
The past 12 months have been difficult in numerous ways. We want to give you some enjoyment and relaxation as well as something to put in your diaries! Let's bring the spring in together!
Each event is free to attend with optional donations to the Alzheimer's Society.
James Gorman is a nutritionist and certified Tiny Habits® coach, with specific expertise in the sciences of nutrition, sleep, and behaviour change. Formerly a London-based investment banker, James walked away from the trading floor in 2015 to address his own health crisis. That led to formal study and research, and a commitment to make health and wellbeing the number one priority in the workplace. James has a BSc in Nutrition from the University of Leeds, and has trained under Dr. BJ Fogg, the Director of Behaviour Design at Stanford University. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife and two sons.
We all have aspirations. We want to be more productive, more accomplished, and less stressed. We want to eat well, do more exercise, and sleep better. We want to feel more positive, more successful, more in-control. But there is a disconnect between wanting and doing. We often struggle to make and sustain the necessary changes, even when we know what those changes need to be. And that makes us feel like we’re failing. But here’s the thing: It’s not us. It’s not a personal flaw. It’s just a design flaw.
And design flaws can be fixed with the right system.
The BioMe Positive Change Workshop will introduce you to a proven system for making small positive changes in your life. Changes that stick. Changes that accumulate and grow big.
