Welly-Fest 2025 is coming to North Wingfield!
9 great live rock, indie & alternative bands, with proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.Saturday 22nd November is the date, North Wingfield Miners Welfare is the venue (Williamthorpe Road, North Wingfield, Chesterfield, S42 5PD).
You can buy your advance tickets from here for just £3 (that's 33p per band!) or you can pay on the door on the day (which will be £5 & cash only).
Turn up when you like, stay all day or come & go as you please with your ticket - all are welcome and under 13's entry is completely free (no ticket needed).
There will also be cool stuff to buy, hot food, a fully licensed bar, face painting, free parking & a few surprises thrown in too - what more could you possibly want??!
Doors will open at 2pm, the first band take the stage at 3pm & the live music continues all the way through until 11pm - we also have the awesome DJ Tam playing rock, indie, goth & emo classics from 2pm until the start of the live music.
As an extra incentive, we have the fantastic Moonlite Productions LTD coming all the way from Buckinghamshire to take care of the sound & lighting - so if you are familiar with them at all, you will already know just how good everything is going to look and sound!

The venue is disabled friendly & less than a 2 minute walk from the nearest bus stop (Stagecoach service 54 - Wingfield Green).
So why not make a day or it - there will be food & drink after all - or just pop in for a few hours.

This event will feature live performances from some of the best originals & covers bands that Chesterfield, Sheffield, Derby & Mansfield have to offer - including Riffler, Beggars Bliss, Little Rock, Crimson Dawn, Death Of The High Street, The Blank Expressions, Lissy, Dead Blonde Stars & Back To Winnipeg (full running order & set times are available in the Welly-Fest 2025 Facebook group) - and we also have a few special guests, including the fantastic Alana the performance artist!
