Welcome to the Welsh Boxing Summer Box Cup 2024.
This event will be for Youth and Junior category boxers and will consist of a cup and plate competition.
If your category has 4 or more boxers within it, you will box at least twice. It is a new format we are looking to run, to provide more competitive opportunities.
Categories are
Male Youth Open, Male Youth Novice (0-5) (2006 & 2007)
Female Youth Open, Female Youth Novice (0-5) (2006 & 2007)
Male Junior Open, Male Junior Novice (0-5) (2008 & 2009)
Female Junior Open, Female Junior Novice (0-5) (2008 & 2009)
The event will take place at Sport Wales National Centre between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd June.

Conditions of entry
* Medical Cards will be retained after the Boxer's first bout.
* Novice is defined as 0-5 bouts as per the WABA Domestic Rules
* Gloves for the appropriate weight will be supplied for competition only.
* Head guards will be used in all Schools, Junior and Youth bouts.
* White waistband (sash) must be worn if vest and shorts are the same colour and no discernible waistline can be seen.
* All competitors MUST comply with the WABA Code of Conduct including abiding by UKAD rulings.
* Welsh Boxing reserves the right to refuse and/or expel any competitor for inappropriate conduct.
* Welsh Boxing reserves the right to refuse and/or expel any person who by law or repute is connected to, or associated with, a Member and is behaving as such as would constitute Misconduct if that person was a Member.
* The Entry Fee is non-refundable unless your boxer is not matched prior to the release of the competition matrix.
