In 2014 the Welsh Government set-up the Welsh Co-operative and Mutuals Commission to make recommendations on creating jobs and wealth. The Commission published its final report in 2015 and subsequently the Welsh Government have used the report to guide their policies on growing the co-operative and mutual sectors.

This free event will hear from Derek Walker, Chief Executive of the Wales Co-operative Centre and Alex Bird of Co-operatives and Mutuals Wales. They will outline the development of the Commission, discuss its findings and recommendations and explain what difference this has made to the opportunities for co-ops in Wales.

There will be time for questions and discussion after the main presentations to ensure a wide range of areas are covered.
