Description

Welsh Rowing have the pleasure of hosting the 2019 Coastal Championships at Plas Heli, Gwynedd.

Racing will start on the water, covering a challenging 6km course and include 6 buoy turns. The finish will be on the beach. One of the crew will exit the boat at the shoreline, then run over the sand to the finish line.

There will be single, double and quad sculls competing. If you do not have a partner for a double, or a crew for a quad, we will endeavour to match you with others to make scratch crews.

Loan boats are available on a first come, first served basis. You are welcome to bring your own boats and blades, there are plenty of trailer parking spaces available.

The beach has its own car park, toilets, changing rooms, kiosk and restaurant.

Entry is open to any rower from any country, over 16 years of age. Those under 18 will need to be signed off by their club coach as competent.

The £20/ticket allows you to race in as many events as you would like.

You will need to provide confirmation that you are insured to race.

FISA rules will be used at this event.
