Wembley Park Presents: Art in the Park with Laxmi Hussain
Join us this summer at Wembley Park for Art in the Park, a free series of open-air Life Drawing classes led by acclaimed resident artist Laxmi Hussain.
Laxmi, whose practice is based at Wembley Park's affordable artist studios run by Second Floor Studios & Arts, has worked with the likes of Tate, Royal Academy of Arts, Cubitts, Vans and Soho House and is known for her vibrant, expressive work and commitment to making art accessible to all. These relaxed morning sessions invite you to switch off, explore new materials, and enjoy the simple joy of drawing in a playful, welcoming setting.
Held in the beautiful Elvin Gardens Amphitheatre, surrounded by public art, wild meadows and leafy trees, each class features a (clothed) life model and is open to all – no experience needed.
You’ll be guided through a range of techniques to help you capture movement, emotion, and the human form.
