West Coast Wanderers Trail Run Relay

The West Coast Wanderers Relay is to celebrate the creation of 3 newly formed Women's Trail Running groups in West Cumbria. This is a Women only event.
The teams will come together for a friendly team relay on a 3km loop (maximum)around Walk Mill Woods. Each team will have mini teams of 4 runners which will each run the 3km loop then hand over the batten to the next women in their mini team. Women who are not members of West Coast Wanderers are very welcome to come and take part. You can either come as a team of 4, or we will group you together with other women.
The 3km route will be marked out with flags and arrows and marshals will be in place to support you around the route. (3km is a rough guide, it may be slightly different on the day depending on weather and numers)
The event is to encourage friendly competition but the focus is on social benefits of running with women, being in nature and experiencing trail running.
West Coast Wanderers members enter free of charge. Other entries are charged at just £5 per person. This is a Not for profit event, all monies raised will cover the costs of future events.
