The House of St Barnabas
and Relative Motion
are partnering to host a fundraising event for The House of St Barnabas Employment Academy in the beautiful Chapel of St Barnabas, 'West End Up Close... An Evening with Jodie Jacobs.'
Jodie’s career in musical theatre spans more than fifteen years and her West End credits include Rock of Ages, Evita, We Will Rock You, Little Shop of Horrors and Fame. In this incredibly rare concert appearance, Jodie will perform an intimate acoustic set of songs that are sure to inspire and move those who join her.
The House of St Barnabas is a progressive charity, with a modern approach driven by a social purpose, making genuine inroads into breaking the cycle of homelessness. A place that is continually inspiring and continually forward thinking. The charity has had its home at 1 Greek Street, Soho for over 150 years and opened its not-for-profit private members' club in 2013 to support its Employment Academy. The Employment Academy provides hospitality and employability skills training, work experience and job opportunities integrated into the club at The House of St Barnabas for people who have been affected by homelessness and social exclusion. 54% of graduates get paid work within one month of completing the programme.
The Chapel of St Barnabas is a unique and intimate space, which is used by the charity as a special venue for its fundraising and cultural events. More information about the charity, club and cultural events can be found on the website www.hosb.org.uk.
