West London Teacher Training Alliance is hosting this free in-person event in Hammersmith on Tuesday 7 October 2025 to give potential teacher training candidates access to a range of local school and university course providers in west London, offering primary, secondary and SEN vacancies for September 2026.
Stall holders will include West London Teacher Training Alliance; St Mary's University, Twickenham; University of Roehampton; Central London Teaching School Hub; Teach West London; Saint John Southworth Enterprise & Research Alliance , Catholic Schools Partnership, Teach Wimbledon, United Teaching, Waldegrave Training Alliance and Wandle Teaching School Hub.
The course providers will be able to talk to you about their specific primary, secondary and SEN vacancies.
Come and hear a useful presentation that will help you select the right course for you and increase your chance of being successful. We will cover different types of course and qualifications, bursaries, student loans, salaried and unsalaried options, and how to navigate the entry requirements and demonstrate your suitability.
The presentation starts promptly at 5.30pm and doors will be open from 5.15pm. After the presentation, you can access the course provider stall holders from 6.15pm. If you can't make it in time for the presentation at 5.30pm, then arrive at 6.15pm to visit stall holders and you can then join a repeat of the presentation which starts at 7.15pm.
The application round for teacher training courses starting in September 2026 opens nationally the week before this event. By attending, you will be ahead of most applicants and will be able to ask any questions you may have about the process and local availability. Information about training bursaries will also be available by then.
