West Lothian Wolves Health Programme (Workshops 1 & 2 - Healthy Eating)
The West Lothian Wolves Basketball Club, in partnership with West Lothian Council's Health Improvement Team, would like to offer 2 fantastic workshops aimed at improving health and increasing awareness and understand of nutrition in sport.
As part of the clubs' new health programme which will include further workshops on drug and alcohol awareness among other topics, the Wolves will be running two workshops on healthy eating on Wednesday 28th September 2016 in Armadale Academy, delivered by qualified sports nutritionists from the West Lothian Council's Health Improvement Team.
The first session will be aimed at players and parents of our U10, U12 and U14 squads and will focus on general healthy eating. The session will take place from 6pm - 7pm in the PE Classroom at Armadale Academy.
The second session will be aimed at performance level and will focus more on specifics such as pre-game/training, recovery foods, timings and quantities. This session will take place from 7pm - 9pm in the PE Classroom at Armadale Academy.
