About the West of England Nature Partnership
We are an active, ambitious, and diverse coalition of NGOs, local authorities, environmental NGOs, water companies, and many others who are working together to see nature restored, reconnected, and recovering in the West of England.
Our vision is of a thriving natural environment that underpins a healthy and resilient society and economy. Find out more on our website.
About the Conference
The WENP Conference is our biggest gathering of the year — a day for everyone working for nature in the West of England to come together, share ideas, and shape what happens next. Taking place at the midpoint of our strategic period, it’s a timely chance to
- Celebrate progress over the past year
- Refresh our collective strategic direction and priorities
- Strengthen our pipeline of nature recovery programmes
- Respond to emerging policy shifts, risks, and opportunities
The day will combine plenary sessions on strategy and the West of England’s ‘State of Nature’ Programme, a keynote from the Mayor, panel discussions on big cross-cutting themes such as health and infrastructure, and interactive workshops to shape investable delivery programmes — all designed to spark collaboration and turn ideas into action. The full programme will be published shortly.
Ticket information
This year, WENP is charging £20 per ticket. This was not an easy decision, but rising pressure on WENP’s limited funds means we can no longer fully cover the cost of hosting a conference for the number of partners we know wish to attend. We have kept the ticket price as low as possible, and the event will still be heavily subsidised by WENP, the West of England Combined Authority, and external sponsors.
To ensure the event remains inclusive of all our partners — including community and voluntary stakeholders — we’re offering a limited number of free tickets for those who need them. These are available on a trust basis, so please only select a free ticket if you are unable to purchase one.
We want this event to be welcoming, collaborative, and action-focused. We hope you’ll join us in shaping the future of nature recovery in the West of England.
