After the success of our first meeting I’m excited to announce our next date 🌊
We’ll be meeting on Saturday, 18th October from 12pm onwards.
I’ve hired the beautiful and cosy Victorian tea house on Mothecombe Beach, which has a lovely log fire and sea view, ideal for an Octobers day. It’s situated right on the SW Coast path.
The space is compact but the beach is a good size, so it’s a “float in and out” day, giving everyone a chance to chat and enjoy the stunning location.
Tickets are essential for this event and must be done via Eventbrite. I’ve limited the places to 20, so be sure to get your ticket to secure your spot.
Please bring a plate of food to share and a chair to sit on the beach. I’ll be organising a game of rounders on the beach, and for the brave among you, it’s the perfect spot for a sea swim.
A few more details for the day:
- As it’s out of season, dogs are welcome on the beach.
- Low tide is at mid day so plenty of room on the beach
- Parking is free for us in the top field.
- There are no toilets in the tea house, but facilities are available in the top field car park and at the School House bar.
I have fronted the cost for the venue hire (£125), so a small donation of £6 cash per person on the day would be hugely appreciated.
