What do I do when I arrive at the open day?

On arrival, a staff member will check you in using your QR code or the name you registered with. Depending on your group, you’ll begin with either a campus tour led by student ambassadors or the Assistant Principal’s talk. Afterwards, you can speak with teachers and explore the courses of interest.

Will there be campus tours?

Yes, when you arrive at your chosen time slot, you’ll be taken on a campus tour. You can also choose to join a tour after the Assistant Principal’s talk.

Can I bring guests with me?

Yes of course! However please ensure that you only book one ticket for the person interested in studying with us.

Will there be a Principal talk?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Assistant Principal talks will take place regularly throughout the event and timings can be found on the open day programme. Please note that if you arrive for a talk that is full, you will be required to wait for the next available slot.

Can I attend more than one Open Day?

Yes, you’re welcome to attend as many open days as you like, as each one takes place on a different date. However, we recommend checking which courses are offered at each campus so you can choose the right open day and make the most of your visit.

How does the college support student wellbeing and safeguarding?

We’ll have specialist staff available during the open day to talk about the services and support we offer across our campuses. They’ll also be on hand to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you may have.

Can I apply for a course at the Open Day?

Yes of course! Staff will be able to assist you with filling out an application for your chosen course(s).

Are there bridging courses for people coming back to study or changing careers?

Yes, we have a hands-on dedicated careers team who will be able to assist you with any queries that you may have.
