This in-person event will provide hands-on experience in understanding and preserving these unique habitats, including spending time looking at the identifying features of key indicator plants such as cross leaved heather and marsh marigold.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, including wellingtons as we will be accessing damp and boggy areas. You will also need to bring lunch and plenty of water as we will be out all day. Please also bring sunscreen if the weather is particularly hot.

Are there toilet facilities?

We will be spending the entire time out on Breney Common and so no toilet facilities are available.
