Overview

Collaborative workshops bringing ADHDers and dog trainers together to define what an ADHD Assistance Dog looks like and tasks they perform

Join us for a series of collaborative online workshops that bring together individuals with ADHD, assistance dog handlers, and professional dog trainers to shape the first community-informed guidance on what an ADHD Assistance Dog looks like.

Across four themed online sessions, we’ll explore the real-life needs of people with ADHD, identify meaningful mitigating tasks, discuss suitable dog temperaments, and build welfare-focused standards for future ADHD support dogs. Each session stands alone, so you’re welcome to attend any or all of them.

This is a welcoming, ADHD-friendly space designed to make participation easy — whether you prefer to speak, use the chat, keep your camera off, or simply listen. Your lived experience and expertise will help create practical, ethical, and accessible guidance that reflects the needs of our community.

Together, we’ll define what effective, safe, and welfare-minded ADHD assistance looks like — for both dogs and humans.
