WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT ADAPTING?
Event Information
About this Event
Wednesday 9th September
2 - 5pm
Location: Zoom
Over the last 7 months artist Kate Genever and Metal have been working on Consequences, a partnership project bringing groups of women together to talk, draw and get to know each other better. Starting before and continuing during lockdown, it’s a project in which we’ve had to constantly listen, reflect, adapt and change. We’ve learnt a lot, with outcomes and solutions being decided through the process of working co-creatively and being fleet of foot. We’ve used new, and some old, ways to reach and connect people including worksheets, zoom and postal packs.
We are keen to share our learning, our breakthroughs and some of the things we perhaps haven’t got right. And we would like to learn from others.
This FREE online event invites you to join us consider our project and hear from 4 other international projects that have also adapted due to restrictions. We aim to delve beneath the surface of all these case studies to hear of all the learning and what’s important to consider when working alongside communities in the ‘new normal’ future.
Come and listen and ask? This event will take place over Zoom and so if you’d like to take part by listening and/or asking questions we’d love to have you join us. For any questions or queries, please email sarah@metalculture.com
