What are your barriers to walking and cycling in North East Glasgow?
Event Information
About this Event
St. Paul's Youth Forum and On Bikes have been awarded a grant by the charity Sustrans to make it safer and easier for people to walk, cycle and wheel in the North East of Glasgow
To make it easier for people to walk, cycle and wheel, we propose to make some changes to street layouts and regulations such as building continuous pavements, creating segregated cycleways and reducing speed limits.
The project is in its initial stages and nothing is 'set in stone' yet.
We would like to hear more about people's barriers to walking, cycling and wheeling in the North East of Glasgow. Please come along to let us know what obstacles you are facing so the project reflects the needs and wishes of all the fantastic communities in the North East.
You can also book a one-to-one interview at a different time if you prefer. We are also happy to come along to any of your meetings if you are a community group or similar. To arrange a time, please send an e-mail to northeastcitywaysproject @gmail.com
