What can Years 3, 4 & 5 learn from the KS2 tests? - Implications and solutions with practical approaches.

The majority of the content of the Key Stage 2 tests originates from Years 3, 4 and 5.

There are some key implications from the last two years of the redesigned end of KS2 tests that are vital for earlier teaching an intervention in securing effective progression and successful end of KS2 outcomes.

At this course you will:

  • Identify the key areas and explore practical ideas and activities to implement in the classroom
  • Explore the content of the tests and the implications from the 2016 and 2017 KS2 test.
  • Investigate the tested content from Years 3, 4 & 5 and identify activities to strengthen key development points.
  • Be aware of other sources of resources to support test content/approaches.
  • Come away with resources you can use in the classroom

This course is aimed at Key Stage 2 Teachers & Subject Leaders
