What do Quakers Believe?

In this intriguing session you will hear three Cambridge Quakers talking about what they believe and how Quakerism works in their lives.

Do Quakers all believe in God? Are they all Christian? Do you have to be a pacifist? The answers to these three questions are: no, no and no. So what do Quakers believe?

They have never had a creed. There isn’t a list of beliefs they have to agree with, or a dotted line they’re required to sign. But there’s a lot of common ground that binds them together and Quakers all share some everyday principles that help them with their lives: equality, truth, simplicity, sustainability and peace.
