Event description

Description

'What does a Knowledge-Rich School look like?' is the first conference for the Midland Knowledge Schools Hub, in conjunction with Parents and Teachers for Excellence. The conference is about the reasoning behind a knowledge-rich curriculum, its impact and the practicalities around implementing it in schools. There will be panels, talks and discussions. Lunch is included in the ticket price

Confirmed speakers (with more still to be announced) include Andrew Old, Ben Newmark, Stuart Lock, Robert Peal, Jon Brunskill, Helena Brothwell, Ros McMullen, Ann Donaghy, Clive Wright, Loraine Lynch-Kelly and Mark Lehain.

Please note that, if you are travelling by train, Nuneaton is the best station to use, and we will provide a minibus service from the station to the school and back again. If you need to contact the school on the day, please call 01455 212386.

Please also note that by purchasing a ticket you consent to PTE adding you to its two mailing lists: one being a roundup of education news that is sent out every weekday, the other being a less frequently released collection of the work undertaken by the campaign in recent times. You can unsubscribe from these either by clicking that option when you recieve the email or by emailing info@parentsandteachers.org.uk and asking to be removed from the list.

The Midland Knowledge Schools Hub will be the first of what we hope will be many PTE-affiliated hubs of schools across the country that will exist to promote the pursuit of a knowledge-rich curriculum in schools in the area. We hope to have more events like this in other areas soon, so if you can't make this one please keep your eyes peeled for one closer to you in the future.
