What does Finance have to do with Biodiversity Conservation?
Overview
Cambridge Local Group of the Wildlife Trust BCN brings you our November Talk.
Ambitious efforts from all stakeholders are required to address the unprecedented loss of biodiversity. In the last five years, there has been significant momentum in the financial industry to understand its role, obligations and opportunities in this global goal. Sylvaine Rols is an environmental scientist with nearly 10 years of experience working with financial institutions and businesses on assessing and managing their impact on nature. In this talk, she will provide an overview of why, and how, financial institutions are looking at nature & biodiversity in the UK; and what it means for conservation initiatives.
This is a hybrid event. If you would prefer to visit in-person, please visit Cambridge Local Group Event: 'What does Finance have to do with Biodiversity Conservation?' | Wildlife Trust for Beds Cambs & Northants for details.
