The British Society of Gerontology's Creative Ageing Special Interest Group are leading this event as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science. The workshop will explore the role of creativity as we age, examining how creative activity can enhance the sense of a life well lived as well as reduce some of the stigmas associated with growing older. During this seminar there will be lightning-style presentations from researchers in the area of Creative Ageing as well as invited guests. We will facilitate a number of creative discussions throughout the afternoon by asking questions about what creative ageing means, as well as how we might choose to age creatively ourselves.
