Event description

Description

with Kath Walton, Head of People Services at award-winning North Star Housing Group

In 2011 North Star Housing Group held a range of quality awards that evidenced it was a great landlord and employer:

  • Times Top 100 best Company
  • Investors in People Silver
  • Customer satisfaction levels at 90%
  • Strong overall performance.

BUT

North Star also had absence levels that were stubbornly high, circa 6% and were not reducing.

And there was a prevalence of work-related stress, causing both absenteeism and presentism.

This was a paradox and North Star set out on a journey to discover what was really going on in the business…

If you are interested in finding out more about the North Star journey and what was discovered along the way, then come along and meet Kath Walton, Head of People Services at North Star Housing Group, winners of the BUPA Wellbeing Award 2016. She will be facilitating the second seminar of the Resilience and Wellbeing Network.

Kath will chart you through the key ingredients of their five-year journey to wellbeing. Working with live issues, it will be an interactive workshop focusing on diagnostics, leadership and relationships.

This session is open to members of the Resilience and Wellbeing Network. To find out more about network events and how to join, please get in touch with Lise Ribeiro by email or on 01937 541700.
