What does it really take to be a resilient organisation?

In 2011 North Star Housing Group held a range of quality awards that evidenced it was a great landlord and employer:
- Times Top 100 best Company
- Investors in People Silver
- Customer satisfaction levels at 90%
- Strong overall performance.
North Star also had absence levels that were stubbornly high, circa 6% and were not reducing.
And there was a prevalence of work-related stress, causing both absenteeism and presentism.
This was a paradox and North Star set out on a journey to discover what was really going on in the business…
