What does this election say about America and the progressive project?
Thu 13 October 2016, 10:00 – 11:30 BST
We are delighted to invite you to attend a speech from Stan Greenberg, leading Democratic pollster and political strategist on the American Presidential election and the progressive project.
The success of Trump in becoming the angry voice of the Republican Party has obscured the new American majorities but also the public's demand for big changes and reform. The primary conflict between Sanders and Clinton masked that progressives are Democrats now, but Clinton has become much more reformist. She is poised to win a mandate for the boldest progressive agenda we have seen in many decades. Will she win in a way that makes that possible?
The speech will take place on Thursday 13th October from 10.00 – 11.30am at IPPR (14 Buckingham Street, London WC2N 6DF).
