In a fast moving, attention flitting world, social media and soundbites often diminish the quality of our interactions. We rarely stop and notice the impact we have on others, and others have on us. But, without stillness and reflection, we lessen our ability to live, love and learn wisely and intentionally in our families, communities and workplaces.

We're delighted to welcome back Dr Simon and Dr Jo Walker to The Wisdom Space! This time, they will be guiding us through a journey of reflection, exploration and intention, in which we explore our Footprint. We'll discover a somatic, embodied way of thinking about the impact we have on others, and different ways of leaving our footprint - depending on who we are with, and how we want to bless them.

As founders and directors of Steer Education in Bradford on Avon, Simon and Jo have spent over a decade working with schools worldwide, equipping educators to help children and young people thrive. The language of Footprint has been introduced to children, young people and families - from UK to China and Australia, as they seek to step mindfully, securely and generously on ground that feels ever more fragile and uncertain.

Frequently asked questions

Is there any parking?

Little Rituals is in the centre of Bradford on Avon and a short (5 minute walk) from St Margaret’s car park (BA15 1DE), Bridge Street car park (BA15 1BY) and the Railway Station car park (BA15 1DQ) by the train station. There is also some road parking nearby if you're lucky!

Is the venue accessible?

There is a step up into the venue and the toilet is located downstairs (with a handrail). If you have any concerns about accessibility, please send an email to Michelle at thewisdomspace@gmail.com

Can I pay on the door?

We ask for all tickets to be booked through eventbrite so that we can manage capacity and ensure that all event communications are received. All tickets are donation based but you are welcome to message us directly if you prefer to pay by cash.

Why is this donation based?

We run as a non-profit and want to ensure that our events are as accessible as possible. The suggested donation covers our costs and allows us to make a donation to our speaker's chosen local charity. It also helps fund a bursary for concessionary spaces.

Can I have more than one drink?

Yes! We have included at least one welcome drink in the ticket price. If we break, there is the opportunity to buy another drink.

Why can't I buy more than one ticket at a time?

This is the way Eventbrite have programmed donation-based tickets. It prevents people from booking all of the tickets and paying nothing.

What time do I arrive?

The event starts at 7.30pm promptly and you're welcome to arrive from 7pm so you can settle into the space with a drink and meet other like minds in the community. We're a friendly bunch so you'll be greeted by smiling faces whether it's your first time or you're a regular.
