About this event
Our speaker is Donald Wetherick, who has worked as a music therapist for 30 years. He studied music at the University of Edinburgh. He trained in music therapy at the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Centre in London.
He has worked as a music therapist with children who have special needs, with adults who have learning disabilities, and in the NHS mental health services with adults.
Donald has trained music therapists at the Nordoff Robbins Centre and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he is currently Deputy Head of Music Therapy.
He is a joint editor of the British Journal of Music Therapy.
