What if...everyone had what they needed to thrive?

About this Event
The Black Country and West Birmingham are on a journey to understand how we can work together to build a fairer, more inclusive society.
Concepts around inequality are not new and yet despite previous work, not enough has changed. There are things that we’ve learned from work that has been done in our region so far. This has been summarised in a report that is available here.
If we want to make a difference to health inequalities, we have to come together in new ways to talk about what matters to us. So to kick start the conversation, we’re hosting the first in a series of workshops on 10th December.
Everyone is welcome; patients, families, carers, members of the public, those who’ve faced inequalities, community organisations and everybody in between.
This workshop will be an opportunity for people of all walks of life to come together as equals to share experiences and stories of inequality. Through connecting with each other in this open and honest way, we can begin to understand and take action so that everyone in the Black Country & West Birmingham is able to thrive. Together, we will be exploring:
What inequalities have motivated you to be part of this movement?
What could our communities look like without these inequalities?
Who is missing from this discussion?
