What is framing? Creating values-led stories for your charity
Overview
How you talk about your cause matters. The stories you tell, the words you choose, and the values you communicate shape how your audience perceives the social justice issue you work on and whether they take action.
This free beginner-friendly workshop will help you understand the role of beliefs, narratives, and framing in social and environmental change, and give you practical skills to bring these insights into your own work.
What you'll learn
In just two hours, you’ll gain practical knowledge and tools to make your communications more impactful. We’ll cover:
- What is meant by values and why they matter for social and environmental change
- Framing as a communications concept and how it shapes public perceptions, feelings, and behaviours
- How to apply values-based framing in your campaigns, content, and messaging
