What is going on in my teenager's head? (814) for Berkhamsted School
Overview
Living with a teenager or pre-teen can be challenging!
Parents often ask why their teenager doesn't want to spend time with them any more, has a daily rollercoaster of emotions and can't get out of bed in the morning.
This online session will help you to understand:
- How the brain is changing and developing during the pre-teen and teen years
- Why adolescent brain development has a huge impact on teen behaviour.
- What adolescent behaviours look like
- Things we can do to support our young people during this huge change in their lives.
We often begin to see the start of adolescent behaviours from the age of 10 and welcome parents and carers of all children from the age of 10 upwards studying within the Berkhamsted Schools Group
This interactive session and popular session is part of the Supporting Links Bitesize Parenting Collection; this one hour event will include a Q&A.
