Event description

Description

It’s a basic human need to want to belong. A survival need, in fact. And how wonderful it is to feel included! But moments of belonging occur on a daily basis – which means we also regularly face being excluded.

Whether you have a personal perspective on the topic, or it’s an issue facing your clients, family, friends or teams, come join a committed group of ORSC-trained systems workers as we explore inclusion/exclusion through the world of people-based constellations.

The Systemic Constellations SIG (formerly known as the Formal Constellations SIG) is an experimental and experiential learning environment that has expanded its original brief to embrace systemic constellations more widely – particularly people-based constellations – to unfold the magic, dynamics and complexity behind personal and professional issues.

We offer the opportunity for one or two people in every session to become "issue holders" and bring to the group systems they are coaching, or systems they are in – including work, family and personal situations – to gain insight and new perspectives from the wisdom of the system.

Participating in a systemic constellation is a profound experience that offers the opportunity to stand in and feel the invisible dynamics of relationship systems. Whether you are an issue holder, participant or observer you will deepen your field awareness and “felt sense”.

We invite you to reflect ahead of time whether you have an issue relating to this wide-ranging theme and invite you to bring it to the group to explore. Or simply come to observe, experience and learn. This event is open to anyone who has taken “ORSC Fundamentals” or “ORS@Work” and beyond.

This session will be facilitated by Carole Adams, Jessica Farrell and Trudy Wright, and hosted by Dorothy Atcheson.

Please arrive at 1.30pm for a prompt 2pm start.
