Duration: 1.5 hours

This course will increase your awareness of what palliative and end-of-care is, when someone may be considered appropriate for palliative support, and how to recognise when a person might need palliative or end-of-care.

You will be able to define palliative care and end-of-life care and explain how they differ, identify common conditions that may require palliative care, as well as recognise signs and symptoms that may indicate a person is nearing the end-of-life.
