Overview

Come join us to learn about the Perinatal Comfort Zone and facilitator training - to equip parents with tools to manage mental wellbeing

Are you supporting parents during pregnancy, birth or early parenthood?

Would you like to be able to offer parents the opportunity to investigate information, tools and techniques for managing their mental health?

The unique Perinatal Comfort Zone group programme (PCZ) is a 12 week psychoeducation support group which provides a structured, empathetic approach for parents experiencing anxiety or depression during pregnancy, birth and beyond. The Perinatal Comfort Zone group programme offers a structured, practical and experiential approach to learning, within a safe, supportive environment.

Want to use the programme content for 1 to 1 support? If you are not currently in a position to run a group programme but would like to use your facilitator training to support parents on a 1 to 1 basis, then our licence agreement offers you this option.

Here are just some of the lovely comments from our recent facilitator training sessions.

I really enjoyed the flow focussed sessions, I particularly liked how the training was rooted in occupation and encouraged doing whilst learning

Really informative and interesting, being able to do some activities that will be used in the group made it even more interactive and gave food for thought

Flexible online adaptation allowed me to slot this into my diary with ease!

Both (trainers) really knowledgeable, friendly, funny and passionate about this group which made the training that much better

A good amount of information and feel this was well adapted given background of trainees

Thank you ..the course and your shared knowledge and useful tips has been more valuable than you will ever know. I feel excited to use the resources now :)
