Event description
Join us for this free online event as we discuss what makes mental health peer support unique.

About this event

We believe that peer support should be an integral offer throughout people’s recovery journey. We want to work together to build a Scotland where lived experience is valued and peer roles and peer approaches are well established, recognised and celebrated. Let’s build on what we have achieved so far!

We invite people who live or work in Scotland to join us as we discuss together just what it is that makes peer support unique? Often people say ‘…if only we could bottle this…’ when talking about peer support. So lets’ make this tangible - what would we be capturing, what is the essence of peer support?

This event is part of a wider research project exploring what it is that makes peer support unique. We aim to use this research to inform the wider development of the Peer Recovery Hub and support the further development of peer roles and peer approaches in Scotland.

This event will also run on Thursday the 20 January. It will be the same event so please only book for one date.
