STAKE YOUR CLAIM!

Join Lewisham Council and LEAN on the 8th February 2018 to develop a collective vision for children and young people’s cultural education in the borough.

  • Contribute to the borough’s Cultural Strategy

  • Grow a collective vision for arts and cultural opportunities for children and young people

  • Design a better cultural future for children and young people in Lewisham

Draft programme with confirmed speakers:

5pm - Tea, coffee and registration

5:30pm - LEAN AGM

6pm - Speakers

6:50pm - Break-out groups and discussions

8pm - Wine, snacks and networking

Confirmed Speakers:

Introduction - Veronica Jobbins, Co-Chair of LEAN and Head of Learning and Participation (Dance) at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Steve Moffitt - CEO, A New Direction

James Lee - Head of Service, Cultural and Community Development, London Borough of Lewisham

A New Direction are shaping this event in partnership with Lewisham Council and LEAN; drawing on their extensive work in this area. Through their partnerships, A New Direction create positive change across schools, education and communities to ensure that young people get the most out of London’s extraordinary creative and cultural offer.
