What the future changes in landlines will mean for you
Overview
Landlines in the UK are going digital by the end of January 2027.
Although the landline isn’t going away, we know that you might have questions or would like to know more about this industry-wide change. Please join us where we are delighted to have Chris Hockley, BT Digital Voice Engagement Manager who will provide an engaging talk on what Digital Voice is, why the change is necessary and what it will mean for you.
Bring all your questions and concerns as there will be plenty of time for discussion at the end of the talk.
If you know of fellow u3a members who don’t have access to join online but have a landline and might be interested in knowing more, why not team up with them so you can watch together or take notes and share with them.
Please note - that that this is a repeat event of the previous two sessions held in April and September this year.
For this event, non-u3a members are welcome to join - please do invite a friend.
