What to do about pesticides, grass cutting and tree planting? A knowledge share event for Devon’s parish and town councils
About this event
As part of the Devon Local Nature Partnership’s Wild About Devon initiative, we are inviting all parish and town councillors and clerks to join us for a knowledge share event to demystify confusion around three key environmental topics.
Each theme will be led by a different Devon LNP partner, providing a clear overview of the issues and best practice solutions but also offering an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and share experience.
1. Tree planting – Jon Burgess (Forestry Commission), Jaz Atkinson (Devon Wildlife Trust), Elliott Saloman-Carter (Devon County Council)
2. Grass cutting in public spaces - Sian Avon (Teignbridge District Council)
3. Pesticides and herbicides – Ed Parr Ferris (Devon Wildlife Trust)
