Sophie Walker, Leader of the Women’s Equality Party, will be hosting a unique event in Brighton on 26th October to ask what is important to women in the Brighton and Hove area in 2016. Taking place at the Brighthelm Centre, this is your chance to meet Sophie Walker and other members of WEP and to contribute to the shape of future policy and make your voice heard.
20 years ago, What Women Want was a ground-breaking political survey asking women what they wanted from life and from politics and how they wanted to see change. Today, with some of the biggest changes underway for a generation, the Women’s Equality Party want to know what you think. This event is all about taking part in politics, having your say and making a difference. The Women’s Equality Party was not only founded to campaign for greater equality but to do that by listening to What Women Want.
The event will run for 2 hours, with speeches, discussions and opportunities to contribute. So come and join us on the 26th and contribute to the future.
