Overview

Learn from emerging insights from a three-year research project exploring how community organisations create real health & wellbeing impact

Community organisations are a key backbone of local life – they respond to needs, build connection, and strengthen the social fabric that underpins health and wellbeing. But understanding how and why this work makes a difference has always been a challenge.

Join us for this inspiring webinar, where we’ll share some of the emerging findings from an ambitious NIHR-funded, three-year study that brought together researchers, community partners, and people with lived experience. Using both realist and economic evaluation, the project uncovered what works, in what contexts, and how these insights can be applied in practice.

Professor Rachel Baker, Yunus Chair at Glasgow Caledonian University and Director of the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health will lead the webinar. Rachel is the lead for this Common Health Assets project, that is supported by a fantastic and interdiscplinary team across the university and voluntary, community social enterprise (VCSE) sector.
