Central Bedfordshire Council is collaborating with whatimpact – National Social Value Marketplace™ to support local VCSEs in partnering with public sector contractors and accessing new opportunities.

The Public Services (Social Value) Act ‘requires people who commission public services to think about how they can also secure wider social, economic and environmental benefits.’ Companies looking to deliver services for the council are required to set out what ‘Social Value’ they can offer, and via Whatimpact, they will be looking for local VCSE organisations to support.
