Join Autistic film maker John Clark for this special screening of his film, 'What's Changed'?
Over the last few months, John curated two RAD Labs which were experimental sessions that asked participants the same question. From this, John has created a film which feature the lab participants and John's creativity and lived experiences. Many of these are honest, poignant and personal. The film is a snapshot of DDN voices in Peterborough today and the world they are facing now.
In this event, the film will be shown, with John explaining some of its background and techniques. There will be a question and answer session with John about the film too. Plus a chance to respond to some of the themes in the film.
Its also a chance to enjoy the RAD 2.0 Artist collections too.
Location: Unit 27, Queensgate Shopping Centre
Under 16's will need to be accompanied by an adult.
About:
John Clark is a filmmaker who aspires to write and direct films of his own and of others, drawn from life experiences and observations. His recently professionally credited BFI-funded debut short Snapshot does so, being based on his experiences with unemployment as an autistic adult.
John finds the world and people around him fascinating. Often his own and other’s experiences become part of his work. Having lived experience as a neurodivergent adult has always meant that this has influenced his creativity too.
