What's in the Bag?
Thu 15 September 2016, 17:30 – 20:00 BST
Join us to explore the landscape of your coaching practice with the use of metaphor. This experiential workshop will be facilitated by John Parkinson and hopefully take place outside (weather permitting and suitably dressed) , giving you the opportunity to discover your creativity as a Coach.
The session will make use of props and our environment to enable an insightful and meaningful coaching experience.
Working for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service as a Coach and Mentor John brings us his ethos, enthusiasm and tools that he has utilised along the way. With a thought that he is at his best when working outside how does the landscape and the metaphor it provides add depth to the coaching conversation? Some of his greatest coaching achievements have been working with challenging 15-16 year olds utilising his passion for the outdoors and giving them an environment in which to reflect.
Note: A nominal charge of £5.00 will be collected on the door to cover room and refreshment costs.
