Event description

Description

The Early Action Task Force, in partnership with the Big Lottery Fund and Britain Thinks, is hosting this event to share new insights on how policymakers, researchers and the third sector can work together to take forward the Early Action agenda.

Britain Thinks will be presenting the findings of their recent research which included a public survey and stakeholder interviews. This research sought to understand: the level of existing public support for Early Action; the barriers to a shift in investment; and how supporters of Early Action can begin turning what seems like a "new common sense" into common practice.

We will hear panel responses from two Early Action stakeholders. The Task Force will then summarise its recent work, the findings of an audit of its practitioner network, and a plan of action for the next phase of the Task Force's work. The event will end with a plenary discussion with participants invited to contribute thoughts on how they can contribute to progressing the Early Action agenda.
