Event description

Description

“If you think you’ve got a tough gig, just try and make lawyers sound interesting!”

Keeping your clients and contacts interested in what you do – even when they aren’t ready to buy from you – is one of the eternal challenges of marketing. Being engaging, interesting and relevant is key.

Working with local law firm RHW, you might argue that Chris’s challenge is greater than for most of us, yet he deals with it using humour and personal experience, as well as with pithy legal information.

In this session, he’ll answer some key questions for you …

What's the point of putting something out there anyway?

Writing about what you know and what you are passionate about.

The ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of great blogging.

Using humour, compassion and personality.

And getting 'you' across in your writing.

About the speaker:
Chris joined RHW solicitors in November 2012. After gaining his Degree as a mature student in the 1990’s, he worked as a management surveyor in London, for LaSalle Investment Management. His experience in dealing with service charge and rent review work led him into consultancy on credit control and B2B debt recovery matters.

He then worked for several years at Lovetts solicitors, as the client relationship and marketing manager and his core professional skillset encompasses: business development, marketing, CRM & development, social media, website optimisation, PR & communications.
