Wheel Building - March 2017
Thu, 9 Mar 2017, 17:45 – Thu, 16 Mar 2017, 20:45 GMT
Is there anything quite so beautiful as a hand-built bicycle wheel? In this class you’ll learn the craft of wheel-building: calculating spoke length, lacing, tensioning, truing, and dishing a wheel.
You’ll get to put your knowledge into practice by building a wheel for Broken Spoke Bike Co-op using our materials; or if you prefer, we can help you to source the parts to create your very own hand-crafted wheel which you can keep!
Although this is a postgraduate-level class it stands alone, so you don’t need previous experience to take part - although a sense of inner peace and tranquility helps!
Terms & Conditions - please read!
**Booking a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions**
Broken Spoke Bike Co-op reserves the right to refuse admission.
