Workshop tutor:Jude Berraondo, speech and language therapist.
This half day online study session will take place live over Zoom. There will be a break during the session.
By the end of the session, you can expect to:
- Understand when and why aphasia and cognitive-communication disorder (CCD) co-occur in TBI, and how a client presenting with both may appear at initial assessment.
- Gain an overview of how to approach assessment and outcome measurement in this population.
- Understand key principles of treatment, including practical therapy strategies and real-life case examples.
- Reflect on how to apply the learning to your own clinical setting.

- A link to the Zoom session will be circulated to attendees before the event, and a copy of slides will be circulated afterwards
- The workshop will not be recorded
- Everyone accessing the presentation should have separately registered and paid to attend - no groups sitting around a single computer please. The CEN relies on ticket income to pay speakers and Eventbrite fees. Any profit is used to subsidise future events.

- A certificate of attendance can be provided on request
