Overview

It is so hard when we are judged as "bad" parents and our child seen as "naughty". Is there a reason that means its not their fault or ours?

Often when a child is "behaving badly" there is a big reason behind this and could be anything from sensory overload, to deep fear of a situation and many issues in between!

Being judged is isolating and upsetting so lets find our what these reasons could be. Join to learn more, to build our confidence and find simple and practical ways to help our child each day.

Pinpoint are the OFFICIAL Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire providing help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

Pinpoint have a dedicated part time staff team of SEND parent carers offering signposting and events for all things SEND and opportunities for parents to have a say and get involved in improving local services.

No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.

You will be sent an email containing the link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!

Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions - You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
