When Species Meet: Loss
Event Information
Description
When Species Meet
Natural history museums are full of collections that tell the story of what happens when two species meet, in particular when our species meets another. This pair of events will use specimens from the Grant Museum of Zoology to investigate the Loss and Hope of our historic and contemporary encounters with animals.
When Species meet: Loss
Natural history museums often tell cautionary tales of extinction and decline. Join scientists and conservationists to discuss what we can learn about the future of biodiversity from these historic tales of loss.
Between February and May, Wellcome Collection and the Grant Museum of Zoology, UCL are collaborating on a series of events to accompany the Making Nature exhibition.
