Description
To celebrate International Women’s Day let’s come together and listen to beautiful tales and wondrous poems shared by some of Scotland’s most creative writers.
Surrounded by talented Swedish photographer; Jannica Honey’s beautiful work at Arusha Gallery in Edinburgh, as part of her ‘When the Blackbird Sings’ Exhibition (1st- 25th March), we invite you to be part of a poignant evening of strength and sorrow, power struggles and empowerment.
While the photographs on the walls honour the female form and its connection to the cycles of nature, Jannica Honey and Danni from The Chachi Power Project welcome you to celebrate the reality of the feminine through the words and tales of some of Scotland’s most talented professional and amateur storytellers.
We've also arranged an extra special element and are delighted that the talented Frances Thorburn will be there to sing one of her beautiful songs to all the guests!
The evening will be relaxed, friendly and intimate with a range of snacks provided by Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food Edinburgh. We'll have some beer thanks to Brooklyn Brewery UK and perhaps a little something softer or a glass of wine depending on what you fancy.
Looking forward to seeing you! Bring tissues!
