Delve into the fascinating history of queens and warriors who ruled vast swathes of the African continent with reigns spanning pre-colonial Nigeria, the villages of Rwanda, the hills of Madagascar and apartheid South Africa.

Join Paula Akpan as she brings to life a world of powerful queens, offering rich insights into life in these regions, how these rulers came to power, and how women took centre stage in influencing the futures of their people.
